This comforter has a nice, silky feel to it. I haven't washed it yet, but it looks sturdy enough to stand up to washing.
Couple of reservations: there is a sequin embroidery at the bottom of the feet, which worries me when it comes to washing.
Also, this really needs to be on a free-standing bed to drape correctly, and for those sequins to be in the right spot, and since my daughter has more of a day-bed type of bed, it's not quite right.
